This was a fun (and unexpectedly spicy 🌶️) read.

Tess is not your average nerd, she is a trivia spewing one who, when she is nervous, cannot seem to control the random, awk-weird factoids that fall out of her mouth. Cole is your average chisel-bodied, long-haired, professional athlete hot guy; read: often an a$$.

At the wedding of mutual friends, Tess and Cole meet, play some trivia where she convinces him to throw the game to his rookie teammates, and then 'get wedding,' which is what Tess coins their hook-up following the festivities.

Fast forward and Tess finds out she is pregnant from the one-night stand. Then comes the real fun of Cole and Tess trying to be cool about becoming just parents and nothing more. Of course, as in any good rom-com, there is drama, the split up, and of course get back together and all is well. But during all of this there is some pretty steamy scenes that made me blush and want to read more.
